What is Supermac?
Supermac is a fully native macOS app, built in Swift: AI chat with your own key, launcher search, window snapping, math, translator, emoji & symbols, File Shelf, Screenshots and Breaks — one app to rule them all.
How much does it cost?
Supermac is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The license covers the beta and all 1.x updates, on up to 3 Macs.
Which macOS do I need?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Where do I download Supermac?
Right after purchase you get an email with your license key and download link. You can also download Supermac any time from the customer portal.
How do I activate my license?
Activate Supermac in the app with the license key from your email. Your Mac needs to be online while it activates.
How many Macs can I use?
One license covers up to 3 Macs that you own or control.
How do I move to a new Mac?
Deactivate the old Mac in the customer portal to free up a slot, then activate Supermac on the new Mac with the same license key.
Which AI models does AI chat use?
Your own key, your choice: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or xAI Grok with your own API key, or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio.
Do 1.x updates cost extra?
No. Features marked Coming in 1.x on the Features page ship as 1.x updates and are included in the license.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked.
